THE DEVASTATING EFFECTS OF THE CORONA PANDEMIC ON HEALTH AND PUBLIC FINANCES (MALAYSIA AS A MODEL)
Abstract:
The Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease has become a pandemic worldwide and has never seen a pandemic like it in history before. This pandemic causing crises, damaging societies, leaving hundreds of thousands of human victims, and billions of dollars in financial losses. In addition to that, many industrial companies fell, the largest commercial enterprises defaulted, many workers were displaced in the streets, and unemployment spread in the East and West, and Malaysia was one of the victims of this devastating pandemic. Several mutations of covid-19 virus have been generated to the point where scientists are unable to explain it. This research aims to highlight the devastating effects of the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) On the financial and health side in Malaysia. It also aims to identify the most important causes that deepen the financial crisis, and contribute to the spread of diseases, and identify the most correct methods and factors helping to avoid economic stagnation and the spread of unemployment in the country. The importance of this research is shown through the contents that relate to tackling the devastating epidemic and put in place precautionary measures to stimulate the economy to raise the GDP for the year 2021. It contributes to improving the health of society and avoiding the risks that result from the spread of the new Covid-19. The researcher will take a method of extrapolation, comparison, and analysis. The researcher expects to reach several results, most notably the importance of public money in life, ways to preserve the health of society in Malaysia, the role of the ruling system in sparing the people from the dangers of economic stagnation, providing health care to the community, and educating them. The dangers of the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19).
