This study aims to assess the perception of the teaching staff of Holly Quran and Islamic Sciences University about the importance of scientific research quality criteria. Descriptive analytic method and questionnaire were used for collecting data from the aimed sample (Faulty of Education teaching staff). Most important results are: Degree of perception of research objectives and content is (high); degree of perception of researcher skills and abilities is (above average); degree of perception of research culture is (high); degree of perception of research policies is (high); degree of perception of insurance quality criteria is (above average). No statistical differences at (0.05) stander is found due to these variables: specialization; experience; academic degree and sex. The study present recommendations, most important are: University should more widespread research quality criteria knowledge; University should encourage teaching staff to participate and co-operate with colleagues abroad in research projects; University research centers and High studies Faculty should insist on quality criteria insurance so as to reach academic accreditation.
