THE MORPHOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF THE FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF SOME OF THE CLUBS OF THE EAST OF ALGERIA FIRST AND SECOND DEGREE PROFESSIONAL
Abstract
The aim of this research is to state the functional morphology of football game players. The study is based on a selection of 100 players who belong to both the first and the second divisions of the Algerian championship; in fact two teams from each stage from the eastern department of Algeria have been selected for. Thus, the conclusions after the study of the analysis results of the anthropometrical functional morphology tests is that there is an obvious link between the level of the teams and the anthropometrical physical characteristics. Moreover, the average values of the first division players were superior to those of the second one.
