Abstract:
With the advent of digital technologies, production organizations can handle and transmit large amounts of information at marginal cost so in recent years, these technological developments, along with others such as globalization and high mistrust in the organizations, have led to unprecedented public expectations regarding transparency. In this study we explore the ways in which organizations work to resolve the tension between a growing standard for exchanging internal information with individuals and their inherent preferences in controlling information by developing the concept of transparency. The survey relied on the questionnaire as a tool for collecting information from the members of the 75 research sample of the decisionmakers working in the education of the (170) Babylon Governorate, and the study reached a set of conclusions based on the results of the study sample answers which Asight is guided by a set of recommendations that the Provincial Education Directorate can guide in its work, which enables it to provide proactive service for administrative reform in Iraq in general and Babylon province in particular.
