Abstract
This study analyzes the process of training and developing human resources as a tool to construct the intellectual capital in the Sudanese banks, a case study Omdurman National Bank from 2015 to 2018. The study includes most of the staff except the guards and office boys, correspondence…etc. I have selected Omdurman National Bank since it is one of the most important Sudanese banks in addition to its vital influence in governmental and private institutions.
The main problem of the research lies in recognizing the impact of training and developing the human resources as a device to build the intellectual capital, then it discusses the concept of human resources and intellectual capital.
The research is divided into an introduction, four topics and a conclusion. The first topic tackles human resources and intellectual capital. The second one concentrates on training and developing human resources. The third topic discusses Omdurman National Bank. Eventually, the fourth topic analyzes the case study.
The results of the case study present a statistical significance between training and developing human resources on the one hand, and the intellectual capital on the other hand especially in private sectors with 88.7%.
Recommendations focus on the importance of relating the training programs with application on the staff tasks in order to achieve the primary goals. The descriptive analytical method is the most appropriate mean to this study. To analyze statistics, SPSS will be used professionally along the statistical descriptive measurements such as repetitions and ratios.
