THE EFFECT OF MIDDLE MANAGEMENT PARTICIPATION IN DECISION MAKING PROCESS ON THE JOB SATISFACTION IN THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION IN SULTANATE OF OMAN


ABSTRAC:

The study aimed to identify the effect of participation on job satisfaction, in order to answer the main question\ Is there an effect of the participation of middle management on job satisfaction in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman, and to achieve the goals of the study, the researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach; Its suitability to achieve the goals of the study.

The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are:

- Participation in making and making decisions increases the employee's awareness and awareness of the importance of these decisions and makes him an advocate armed with all the tools of knowledge and technology to reach the best results because these decisions stem from his conscience and therefore his satisfaction with himself and his job rises as well as levels of his job performance.

- Participation in making and taking decisions is accompanied by a positive impact of job satisfaction directly among the leaders of the middle management, as he feels pleasure in performing the work and that he has value and an entity within the Ministry of Education.

The study also recommended the need to strengthen the relationships between the higher and middle leaders in the institution so that participation in decision-making is achieved, and thus the level of job satisfaction increases, productivity and morale increases for them, providing an appropriate climate and their participation in solving problems and caring for their proposals and taking into account their requirements.
