THE ROLE OF THE RADIO REPORTER IN PROMOTING HEALTH AWARENESS TO REDUCE THE RISKS OF THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC IN SUDAN (SUDANESE RADIO CORRESPONDENTS AS AN EXAMPLE)
Abstract
This study aimed to know the role of the radio reporter in promoting health awareness to reduce the risks of the pandemic covid19 virus pandemic in Sudan (Sudanese Radio Correspondents as a model). And participated in the study (40) correspondents, equipment and director of (61) from broadcasters, who are the size of the sample study. The study showed that the Sudanese Radio correspondent played an active role in increasing health awareness. This is by providing citizens with information and medical advice to reduce the severity of the disease. And that the Sudanese Radio depends on the efforts of its reporters to achieve its goals and media message towards the rural community. In addition to the general framework of the problem, the study included three variables, namely: (radio reporter, health awareness, and Crohna virus). At the end of the paper, the researcher came out with several recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity of raising the capabilities of correspondents through continuous training, improving financial conditions, logistical and technical support, and giving them wider areas in the daily program map, and giving them more powers in choosing the corners of the reports and audible reports.
