ABSTRACT
The study aimed to identify the reality of the Palestinian economy in light of the Corona pandemic - the tourism sector as a model, and the study relied on the descriptive and analytical approach through the use of a qualitative method based on interviewing specialists in the economic sector in general, and tourism in particular. The study derives its importance from the importance of the topic it deals with, as the Palestinian economy is considered one of the developing economies that are quickly affected by the surrounding conditions, and because the tourism sector is considered one of the sectors most affected by the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in the Palestinian territories. The problem of the study focused on answering a key question: What is the reality of the Palestinian economy in light of the Corona pandemic _ the tourism sector is a model? The study summarized a number of results, the most important of which are: The Palestinian tourism sector is one of the sectors most affected by the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, as the outbreak of the Corona epidemic led to the deterioration of the tourism sector in Palestine, as reservations in hotel rooms decreased by 35% with the beginning of March 2020, Before infections were discovered in Palestine, and tourism was stopped completely.
