THE IMPACT OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT FOR ADMINISTRATIVE LEADERS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN CAPITAL IN THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION IN THE SULTANATE OF OMAN FROM THEIR POINT OF VIEW


Abstract
This study aimed to reveal the impact of knowledge management for administrative leaders on the development of human capital in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman from their point of view. The researcher used the descriptive approach, where a questionnaire was built to know the impact of knowledge management on human capital development from the point of view of the leaders themselves. The tool consisted of (29) items distributed on two scales: the knowledge management scale (13) items, and the human capital development scale (16) items. The study sample was chosen by stratified random method, where the study sample consisted of (290) administrative leaders representing directors of departments and their assistants and administrative and technical supervisors in the ministry and in all directorates of education in the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. The results of the study showed that the degree of administrative leaders' application of knowledge management was (medium) in all dimensions, and that the degree of administrative leaders' practice of human capital development was (medium) in all its dimensions as well. The results also showed a direct (strong) positive impact of knowledge management on the development of human capital among the administrative leaders of the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman.
