FUNDING SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN ARAB COUNTRIES AND THE OBSTACLES THEY FACE
Abstract
The aim of the research is to explore the reality of funding scientific research in the Arab countries and the obstacles they face, where the descriptive analytical method was used, and surveyed the opinions of a number of graduate students and university professors in a number of Arab countries: the Syrian Arab Republic, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Jordan, Iraq Accordingly, the researcher designed a questionnaire dedicated to that and conducted for it indications of honesty and stability, and the results concluded that the weak spending on scientific research negatively affects it, and that the least spending on scientific research was Syria, while the highest was Iraq.
