THE EFFECTIVENESS OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION USING CLOUD COMPUTING IN DEVELOPING THE ATTITUDES OF MINISTRY OF EDUCATION EMPLOYEES IN THE SULTANATE OF OMAN TOWARDS THE USE OF ITS APPLICATIONS

Abstract :
The aim of the present research was to investigate the effectiveness of digital transformation using cloud computing in the development of the attitudes of the employees of the Ministry of Education in Sultanate of Oman towards using its applications. To this aim, the quasi-experimental research design based on one group with pre/post testing was adopted. The sample (N=170) was selected in a deliberate way from the staff of the Ministry General bureau, because they have the experience and knowledge of using the computer as well as the web and its various applications. A pre-post-scale (prepared by researchers and designed electronically through Google forms) was administered to measure the attitudes of the employees of the Ministry of Education in Sultanate of Oman to improve information services. A training program was prepared for the development of technical performance skills using cloud computing applications to improve the information services of the employees of the Ministry of Education in Oman. Results of the research revealed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group on the pre-measurement and post- measurement of the scale of attitudes towards using cloud computing applications to improve information services among the employees of the Ministry of Education in Oman in favor of the pos- measurement.
